1. Who we are
Saleh Consulting LLC ("Saleh Consulting," "we," "us") is a finance and accounting consulting firm based in Houston, Texas. We operate a secure web application (the "App") that our team and our clients use to manage engagements, tasks, documents, messages, time tracking, calendars, and email related to our services. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect
a) Account information: your name, email address, role (team member or client), and login credentials.
b) Business and engagement information you or we add to the App: client details, tasks, notes, time entries, documents and files you upload, messages, signatures on documents, and reports.
c) Accounting data from QuickBooks, if you or our team connect a QuickBooks company to the App.
d) Google data, only if you choose to connect your Google account (see Section 3).
e) Basic technical information needed to run and secure the App, such as login times and error logs.

3. Google user data
If you choose to connect your Google account, the App asks for your permission to access the following, and only for the purposes described:
- Google Calendar: to show your events in the App, create or update events you schedule through the App, and show whether you are available or busy.
- Gmail (read): to display your email related to client work inside the App and link messages to the correct client.
- Gmail (send): to send emails you compose in the App from your own Gmail address.
- Gmail settings (basic): to read and apply email settings such as your signature, so messages sent from the App look consistent.
- Google Drive (files created or opened by the App only): to save and open files the App creates for you.

How we use Google data: only to provide these features to you inside the App. We do not use Google data for advertising. We do not sell Google data. We do not allow people to read your Google data unless you give us permission for specific items, it is needed for security or to comply with the law, or it is used in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations.

We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Saleh Consulting's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google at any time in the App, or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we stop accessing your Google data. You can also ask us to delete Google data we have stored (see Section 8).

4. How we use information
- To provide and operate the App and our consulting services.
- To authenticate users and keep the App secure.
- To send service emails such as invitations, password resets, and notifications.
- To communicate with you about your account and engagements.
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.

5. Who we share information with
We use trusted service providers to run the App. They process information only on our instructions and only to provide their services:
- Supabase: database, file storage, and login.
- Netlify: web hosting.
- SendGrid (Twilio): sending email.
- Intuit QuickBooks: accounting data, if connected.
- Google: calendar, email, and file features, if connected.
- Anthropic: the App's optional AI assistant processes only the content that you choose to submit to it.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, our clients, or the public. Within the App, information is visible only to the people who are authorized to see it, based on their role.

6. Security
We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access controls, authentication, and access restrictions at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your information, and you may disconnect any connected service at any time. To make a request, email support@salehsconsulting.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and no later than 30 days.

9. Children
The App is for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify users in the App or by email.
